"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

The Zionist entity pursues unchallenged regional hegemony and continued expansion. Any powerful state in the region is seen as a threat to that plan. Turkey still provides the entity with oil and gas, but the contradictions between them have been sharpening since they fulfilled their shared agenda of toppling the Syrian government and now they have competing regional interests. Turkey's government while still co-operating behind the scenes, has had to publicly criticize the Zionists for the Gaza genocide to appease their population. As the Zionists' position weakens they are worried that Turkey might smell blood in the water and actually start following through on that rhetoric with concrete actions which would boost Turkey's regional standing.
