The gaza angle is comical, even now. "No better than the only viable alternative, but maybe there's hope" so people voted to ensure it'll only get so, so much worse, on that and almost every other metric imaginable. It says a lot about education when people can't do the equivalent of reducing an equation.

I won't address the obviously false implication that Trump was meaningfully worse on Gaza than Harris (for all his faults Trump did get a ceasefire), but also almost nobody actually made that calculation. People don't vote for people whose guts they hate, and the genocide gave one more reason for people to hate Harris's guts.
