Typical Trump, trying to put himself at the centre of the universe. While his actions in the US and his statements about Canada are important context, the reality is that PP himself is polarizing, that JT resigned, and that Carney acts like an adult and has important skills. Canada is a complex nation and a functioning democracy. People vote the way they vote for all kinds of reasons. Trump is simple minded and single minded. This isn't all about him.

The reality is that people in Canada were motivated to vote. Spinning that isn't as important.

It's not all about him, no; but my understanding is that conservatives in Canada massively underperformed yesterday, and the analysis seems to point to mobilization against Trumpism.
