Point taken. I'm not a religious guy and I'm sure there's plenty of old testament scripture that supports smiting the non-believers (which christophiles always point to as to why muslims are so gosh-darn violent), but Jesus was a lot more on the side of promoting peace than war, which was kind of the point the pope was trying to make. I don't believe any of it, but Vance claims to, and it is clear to me he just doesn't understand what he claims to believe.
That was really my only point and I guess I wasn't really very clear about it
