Looks pretty fun.

Didn't know about Jay and Silent Bob, apparently it's an old series (well, a whole universe) and even had a game back on NES (also available on Switch now).

Anyone has any experience with this universe?

Yes, it's the View Askewniverse, created by Kevin Smith. It started with his independent film Clerks, followed by Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot and Clerks III (There's also an animated Clerks show).

The stoner couple Jay and Silent Bob show up in all of them. Silent Bob is played by Kevin Smith and Jay is Jason Mewes. The movies are fun, they are from different times so they are pretty different between each other. I'd recommend starting with Clerks, a black and white 1994 comedy film which launched Smith's career. Mallrats and Dogma are good starting points too I guess, but I've enjoyed all of them.

The NES game was made by the same studio that's working on this one and Limited Run, to get some funds to keep developing this particular title. It's an 8-bit beat 'em up, very reminiscent of the 80's style of NES games.

I believe I have heard of Clerks and Mallrats, don't recall watching them though. Will look them up. Thanks!

I just know the movies. Kevin Smith films are something to put on and not think about. They're fun.
