I never expected this generation's Steve to be so prolific in the political sphere. We need more of it. Like a current day Mr. Rogers.

A lot of us were last human when we were small children, reading and growing and laughing, then we grow up and accept fate.

Hell, I still think about Mr. Rogers.

Honestly, this is why school integration is such a big deal to these people. Hard to be a racist if you're a kid playing with kids.

I remember an ad about that. Bunch of kids playing at the park. White girl playing with a black girl. White girl's mother calls her over and tells her not to play with the black girl. Little girl just asks "why" and the mother can't really think of a reason to tell her.

I don't think she meant for this to happen with her initial comment but I'm glad she stepped up.

Not to give her too much credit but I feel the backlash a beloved kids show host got just for caring about kids was a wakeup call for a lot of people
