Is it possible to not know who a famous person is?

Good question, evoking inspection of the terms, philosophising about the ideas, ... if by definition fame means (in part) known, then if you do not know them, are they famous? And so on. Like its cousin, if a twig snaps in a forest and no one is around to hear it, did it really snap?

Like are there people in the world who don’t know who Ariana Grande or The Weekend are?

Way to crash that good question into the pits on inanity.
