it was functionally already all bots on the main subs/frontpage when i left. a bunch of covert ads and questionable moderation too. i hear they are blatantly censoring antizionism now.
my burning question is why don't people care about much of anything anymore. are people really that tired?
They want their quick fix of dopamine and damned be the minor inconvenience of possibly interacting with a bot. A vast majority don't realize the massive bot problem and even if a subset of them knew, they wouldn't care.
Just like how TikTok is now owned by MAGA but a bunch of my left leaning peers are still hopelessly addicted to it.
Reddit still has some value in that it has active niches or hobbyist subs. I still pop in for book/movie/tech recommendations.
