We’ve done it, we got rid of another soulless right wing politician!

Peter Dutton first made his party lose this election and now also lost his own seat much like Pierre Pullover

We’ve still got a government that green-lit new coal power plants in it’s last term, screwed over the Aboriginal community with a poorly run referendum, and still doesn’t give a shit about climate change, but baby steps hey.

You can vote online if you're overseas. I know because I did it like a decade ago while sitting in a Madrid airport lounge, having only just discovered that an election was happening. It was a local council one though.

Local and (some?) state elections, sure. I voted in the NSW state election online while living in London, after having unknowingly missed voting in the previous one while in Tokyo, thereby having the state revenue service after me when I got home months later 😅

Federal still requires you to rock up to a polling place (usually the embassy), or postal vote.
