Before I graduated high school, my friends who had a band put on their last show before splitting up and going to college. They were hella good at the time, and sounded like Mars Volta (the band just dropped Deloused in the Comatorium and it was major popular at my school). The show was outside and the band wanted to get everyone to just crowd around them super close as they performed. I was pretty much hugging the vocalist, Richie, and dude it was fucking awsome.
They sounded so good, and Richie sounded exactly like Omar Rodriguez , so it was like Omar was singing directly into my face. ๐
I've been to other, actually produced and major bands shows (Gim Blossoms, Dave Matthews Band, etc) and NONE of them have been as epic as my friends' performance that night.
