The Wozniak era of Apple was pretty much all upside. Whatever less than nice things to say at Apple almost certainly came about more than a decade after he had left them.

It’s serving different pressures. Woz served the makers, the needs. He’s the Adam Savage of that generation. Jobs is a techbro. He’s innit for the money. He doesn’t care how or why it does a thing. He just needs to jerk off the investors. He was incredibly skilled at what he did, don’t get me wrong. He was absolutely brilliant there.

But they served different masters.
