I have a coworker travelling there in July. Unwillingly, I've been more or less been kept in the loop what preparing the trip implies and I'm pretty horrified.

Up until now, these are some of demands made (and accepted):

  • full disclosure and acess to social networks
  • criminal record
  • recent photo, perfectly groomed and in the attire to be used to travel there. No deviations will be tolerated from the supplied photo.
  • complete list of possible identifying marks on the body, with pictures (tattoos, moles, melanistic spots, scars, etc)
  • name and social networks of parents, siblings and other close relatives, including children.

The person is separated with two children; this is causing a lot of friction.

  • has already been warned an interview of up to two hours will be held upon arrival.

The person speaks broken english at best.

  • disclosure of place of employment and other connections to public organizations

They are connected to a local soccer club and a youth sports association.

To add to all of this, this isn't a standard caucasian human but someone who has looks that can be taken for someone from the middle east, slightly darker shade of skin included.

Flying from southern europe straight to Florida.

I'm concerned. I would not go, full stop. They have people waiting there for them but nonetheless. Considering the heated state of affairs, it is something I consider of not easily to overlook risk.

Honestly they will probably be fine. Lots of fear mongering in this thread but let's be a little realistic here: they HAVE ALREADY accepted disclosure to social networks, criminal record etc. that u have listed, the only missing component is physically coming here. They are coming from Europe, our fellow global colonizers. They may be subject to interview but will likely get in and back out no issues. So long as they already know people here they won't have too much issue in their time here as well. If you could go back and stop them before they started process yea sure that would be great, but the damage is done at this point so let it ride. Odds are they will not encounter any legitimate issue, although odds are not as good as before Trump's first presidency. Yes shit has gone down hill a lot, but it's still a lot safer to travel to USA then to a LOT of other countries that people are tripping over each other to go see. Seeing how your so concerned I would love an update on how they made out on their travels ๐Ÿ‘ I'd hate to be proven wrong for your friends sake.

Thirty-nine words out of two hundred and two. That's about 19%. Sort of corresponds with your chances of being detained, stripped, searched, deported.

Yea I'd rather travel to USA than Singapore. Not best time to go to the usa but people like to act like the brown shirts will get you as soon as you come. Fact of the matter is if your from a well to do nation you won't be bothered. They go for the easy pickings because they don't have the resources to protect their citizens once they leave the country.

don't forget white and speak fluent English. also being white is negated if you're a woman traveling alone.

Correct- and let's not forget the greater the wealth the less all the other factors matter. Hell you could be an alien from space and as long as u pay for the trump card ur golden! ๐Ÿ‘
