Your comment is great, so I told my partner about it. He asked the cat if she was a wɑffle or a pɑncɑke. I said pɑncɑke, because she's a good sleepy circle. Now we're arguing whether waffles should be squares or circles.

Square, because otherwise the dimples wouldn't be uniform.

Also, square plates are better.

I've not personally had the benefit of owning square plates, mostly as I think all my dishes have been second hand. That said, they would stand up in the dish drainer much better. No rolling around. You win lol
