this is pretty par the course for Japanese companies. I'm not excusing it, i'm just saying Japanese companies will go all out with this kind of stuff. also look at Nintendo. They'll sue people to bejesus and back on a routine basis.
Yoti is British. I get you were talking about Sony, but I wouldn't want people to get the impression that this is a strictly Japanese thing.
Here in the US, none of our companies ever do anything like this and we live in complete freedom
