Well well. They have means of manufacturing and you don't. And they tell you what they gonna do. What now?
Guess I am not replacing this phone, when it dies I go back to no smartphone again. Only had a smartphone for a few months so it wouldn't even be a difficult change.
Some kind of portable PC might be nice though. Maybe stick a raspberry pi in a briefcase with a USB powered display and mouse/keyboard along with a shitload of power banks to run it for weeks. Yeah, that is the sort of thing a Linux user would do.
