In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.

- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered

If I'd done my research I could've seen it coming.
Yen’s personal u/ on Reddit being “andy1011000,” which is binary for “andy88”.
It was considered paranoid to read something into that.
But then what would the reason be for usinfg this binary?
While they already used 88 as an obfuscation for HH(heil Hitler)
This is a similar step obfuscating the 88.
And there are precedents of it being used by fascist scum
He's Chinese enthinicity and multiple 8s are a lucky number in that culture. I think that's more likely than a reference to Hitler.
That is a valid explanation.
