Well.... 6th century BC... maybe, depending on how much you trust the sometimes sketchy historical accounts.

I grew up in Indonesia, my sister is from Java, my brother is from Singapore. I'm natively from California, and I'm a huge white boy. I am ashamed that the country of the free, the country of the brave who had bounteous arms to welcome the downtrodden and abused of the world is no longer that place. Instead it's the land of the secret police, tbe land of a pedophile traitor president who can't stand any kind of criticism because he's a fucking coward who dodged military service.

Extreme overcrowding, over 16k per square km is insane, tons of garbage, all the rivers smell awful still, rampant crime.

I grew up in Jakarta in the 80s, and it was a massive shit hole then. Went back to visit in 2015 and it was far far worse.

Creating photos that will actually pass real scrutiny hasn't happened yet. That's why. Can it fool the general populace who would look at it for no more than 1 second? Sure. But that's a low bar.

Thanks, Verge for saying "anti-anti-fascist" instead of calling it what it is. Fascist.

I've been planning a month-long trip to Japan with my sister and my soon to be wife. We have already planned out quite a few things we want to do, but if this was you, what would you want to see or do? Keep in mind that we're all rather old (I'll be turning 50 shortly).
