Nvidia GPUs and MacBook M chips can’t be compared because they’re completely different things. One is a CPU/SOC, the other is a big old standalone dedicated GPU.

You’re talking about ARM vs x86, and ARM is slowly becoming the norm for all PCs and laptops in the future. Nvidia and MS literally just announced steps in this direction the other week - but that’s still got nothing to do with the topic at hand, GPUs.
