There's no limit to how many layers I can wear in winter, but there's a limit to how many I can take off in the summer. Simple as
You don't have a knife? They're not nearly as expensive as a good coat.
Yeah but putting that layer back might be very expensive 😄
Even with a knife scraping off everything that makes you human, you will eventually encounter a limit.
And eventually the coats will crush you, create their own weather system, collapse into a black hole. What's your point?
There is definitely a limit to how many layers you can put on.
I mean a shirt, sweater, and insulated jacket can keep me very warm flying down a windy mountain at <-20C so do you really need that many layers?
I've done undershirt - overshirt - jacket 1 - jacket 2 in the dead of winter. If the Sun vanished and the temperature plummeted to -100 I'm pretty sure i could figure out how to add a third jacket and then a blanket on top of that.
