When he goes we'll still have the machine they slapped in place still there or at the very least the mess they left behind. If the next president goes into repair mode it'll probably consume the entire term at the very least.

That's exactly what I said during the 2020 election. If Biden won, he'd had to spend the first 2-3 trying to repair the US's reputation on the world stage and being the country back from COVID. All the while, vile shit stains like mcconell outright said they'd do everything they could to ensure it makes Biden look bad and not pass anything meaningful. His goal was to fuck over this country for the sole purpose of political points.
