but don’t forget about the ethnic cleansing happening in Tibet and Xinjiang as well

The thing is, alleged "secret ethnic cleansing" that still has no direct evidence after a decade is not as bad as the visible abuse that the US publicly lumps on minorities. I'd rather live in Xinjiang than be a black American any day, and the statistics back me up.

China is way worse than the US.

Only if you're a white supremacist.

Fair critique of the US, but replace white with Han and you can say the same of China.
