Isn't that true for the Chinese EVs as well? The billionaire owners of the EV industry are all tied, willingly or unwillingly, to the authoritarian regime of Xi Jinping

Yeah absolutely. The thing is they are what they are whereas the US is working to get worse and I wont support or celebrate it. The US have made moves to divide europe and made it policy. They are also threatening our borders for annexation. China doesn't pose an imminent threat to the borders of Europe.

I don't support either, but I would be more upset if a friend tried to fuck my wife than some guy in a bar somewhere.
