I loved visiting a friend's house and their cat was leaving their bedroom, meowed at me to follow him so I did, and he guided me downstairs to the food bowl. When he detected I was confused he then led me further to the cupboard where his kibble was kept, and waited for me to feed him. I did not feel like I had the power in that situation ๐ more like a barely competent servant
"My god, how dense is this human? FOOD! I WANT IT! IT'S THERE!"

A friend of mine went out of town and I helped take care of their cats. I realized when I went to feed them, that I didn't know where their food was. I was about to call my friend, but then realized I could just ask the cats. And sure enough, one of them led me directly to the closet with the food. Easy peasey
