Would you vote for someone using the N-word to appeal to racists?
Personally No. Luckily I don't live in Ohio and have to make that choice between her and the gop rep.
If she wins, they're stuck with her in the next election too. They won't be able to nominate anyone else because she'll be the incumbent. In the meantime she'll drag the rest of her party down, depressing voter turnout as people stay home because they don't want to vote for a party that has leaders like her.
Have you seen how many incumbent democrats have been getting ousted this year? Incumbency isn't as protective as it used to be.
This year.
Incumbency is only protective when economic conditions are stable. When times are tough, like they are now for most people who aren't involved in constructing data centers, incumbents get voted out. These things go in cycles.
There's basically no way to know what economic conditions will be by 2028, but odds are they'll be fine. The economy has long periods of stability with only short periods of crisis, after all, so on average incumbents have an advantage.
And that assumes the Party doesn't force her down voters' throats anyway. They like doing that shit too.
