Explains why a single one of my neighbours in my appartment block was going nuts (shouting loudly and even banging on a pan) last night at around 11PM.

I loved how quiet it was when turkey dropped out. Aaah. That was a beautiful morning. I was prepared for much noise

Yeah, when Portugal itself dropped out (curiously at the hands of Spain) all the World Cup excitement suddenly cooled down a lot.

I was actually able to watch TV News again as the news went from being about football 75% of the time down to almost the usual 10-20%.
