This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.
This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?
Just post some stuff and don't spam.

So not a denial. Here’s the post they shamelessly copied, down to the title, which was already a low effort bot post with an unsourced claim. https://old.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1u5c3ku/the_1000_maldivian_rufiyaa_banknote_is_considered/
A denial of what? The fact that damn near every single meme you see on Lemmy has been on Reddit at some point? Are we really having this discussion?
Seriously, go post your own content instead of complaining about other people’s. We could always use more content on Lemmy!
Dang, at least the person that mildly tried calling me out for sourcing from Facebook this morning was polite about it! 😅
I neither browse Reddit nor Facebook. This is literally my first time seeing these sea creature monies. 🤷
Exactly, it's always going to be someone's first time seeing something even if it's been around forever. People that are annoyed should just move on. Animal money is awesome and I enjoy seeing it come up now and then. And I also enjoy the people that get happy for seeing it.
Not having been on Reddit for years, I missed it entirely. And it's a good one, it brought some beauty into my scroll. OP has kindly allowed those of us not on the digital equivalent of a Superfund site to be able to enjoy it too.
Maybe what really should have been left on Reddit was the desire to personally police what others choose to post instead of simply appreciating it, or not, and then moving on.
