If you change the definition of air to mean

An open, generally public way for the passage of vehicles, people, and animals.

the point is, the term murder exists for purposes of determining sentences and punishment for crime. if we as a society decided that homicide and regicide were of the same magnitude, we'd call them both murder. we don't. we call one murder and one assassination. not sure what your point of redefining air means.
