This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

See this GitHub page for a collection of sources about socialism, imperialism, and other relevant topics.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Have a great week everyone! Grabbed a mini eReader myself, and it's been a great doomscroll antidote.

As always, communism will win.

what have you been reading on the mini ereader?

[–] Cowbee@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Finished Nkrumah's Neocolonialism, the Last Stage of Imperialism on it, and have since been using it for This Soviet World. Going to use it to accelerate larger book reading for study!

very cool, i got stalins collected works on my ereader recently

[–] Cowbee@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Cool! I saw that Iskrabooks now hosts epubs for some titles like Stalin's collected works.

Nice! Always wanted to buy some of their books but could never rationalize the expense.

From ISKRA books. They have free epubs

You should read Yuri Smertin's biography of the guy, it's great for putting him, his works, and his life in perspective.

What kind did you get? I've got one that's about the size of the tablet and while I do really like it at home it is fairly cumbersome to take out with me

[–] Cowbee@lemmygrad.ml 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The XTEink X3! Only a 3.7" screen, but it works well enough for me reading-wise, and I use my larger Kobo at home.

[–] almalexia@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Oh wow that is small. I may check that out

[–] Cowbee@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

There's a larger one, the X4, as well!

[–] Makan@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

I might get that one
