Just blocked lemmy.ml from my Lemmy account, and I swear to god it's one of the best things I've ever done on this platform. My homepage feels actually clean now.

For the past few months I'd been seeing a lot of tankie posting and pretty much far-left propaganda on my feed. It got tiring enough that I finally checked my blocked-user list, and realized pretty much everyone I'd blocked was from lemmy.ml. So I just blocked the whole instance instead.

Saying this as someone who considers themselves a leftist: I used to think Lemmy itself was an echo chamber. Turns out lemmy.ml was the problem the entire time. Probably the reason I tolerated it for so long is that I agreed with a lot of what they posted, but like an oversaturated meme, I'd had enough. Browsing the platform was starting to feel way too tiring instead of fun, which defeats the point of being here in the first place.

The breaking point was seeing some dude post a "meme" implying North Korea and China are basically communist utopias and that the West sucks. I mean, the West does suck, but come on - you're saying North Korea is the ideal the West should strive for? What the hell...

It was a logical fallacy lol. If you think I was posturing as superior, that's a feeling that came from within your heart.

You can't just spit out nonsense and act like you made a good point. If you feel that our interaction is similar to how you interact with users from .ml, it's likely that you are just someone who gets deep into conflict with other users very easily and is constantly making bad faith arguments in an attempt to "win" the internet.

No is fucking cyberbullying you lmao. I am not an .ml user and don't have an agenda. No one had threatened anyone. This is actually hilarious. You can't accuse people of pointing out that you argue with logical fallacies, and then go on this entire straw-man rant about how you're being threatened and bullied. That literally didn't happen. Nothing like that happened.

Even more hilarious that you are saying that I am trying to make myself a victim, and then accusing me of threatening you and cyberbullying you. You can't make this stuff up. lol.

Looking at your profile, you are currently engaged in like 6 different bad faith arguments with other users. You literally cannot interact with people in any way other than getting into negative interactions with them. You must feel absolutely exhausted. You think you're fighting some sort of holy war against the communists? Go ride a fucking bike or go for a walk or something. Geez. lol. Social media seems to have scrambled your mind, consumed by negativity. You are bullying yourself.
