The SoC appears to be a 7% CPU/GPU perf bump according to Qualcomm. No info on North American compatibility yet.

Speaking of the cam, I find it quite good. It's comparable to Pixel a-series. What sucks for me is that it's not consistent. That's entirely software though.

It can take nice pictures, but as you say, it's not consistent. I'm not sure it's entirely software. Even using GCam software, about 30-40% of my pictures end up being wobbly. My Pixel 4a made much better pictures on average. Also, videos seem to have frequent stutters. Then there's the wideangle camera, which I'd consider pretty unusable quality-wise.
