I don't think men are wrong to say that the experience of being heterosexual man on tinder or similar sucks ass. Spending hours on an app getting rejected on an industrial scale can't be a fun experience, and I don't think we need to minimise that.
Significantly less chance of getting murdered though, gotta remember to keep that in perspective. Yes women are industrially rejecting you, but you're probably not getting murdered, or sexually assaulted.
It's the difference between a guy saying "Dating apps suck, they're really dehumanising for everyone" and "Dating apps suck because those DAMN WOMEN never respond to me even though I'm the perfect guy."
