Forcing actors to grow body hair in their more intimate areas should not be a virtue. That's weird and over the line and you should be ashamed.
It's a movie. It's not a realistic story and shown through a camera, not someone's real eyes. Suspend your disbelief or leave.

Exactly, but even so, it's an actors job, many lose weight, gain muscle, grow hair, lose hair, all the time for the role. Such a strange thing to be angry about, let the actors decide themselves lmao. What's with the new trend of people getting offended on behalf of others?
If Christian Bale wants to make himself look like Skeletor for a role, that's his choice.

It's ok if they do it. It's not ok to be mad if they don't go far enough. Are you going to cripple the house actor for realisms sake?

You are forgetting that acting is a job. One the actors have the freedom to decide and negotiate their terms.
It's perfectly reasonable for a character to have armpit hair, even if that personally offends you.
The actor can decide what to do with the director or whomever. You dont need to project your own opinions onto some random actor, they have their own.
Also, it is absolutely fucking okay to expect consistency in a film/show.
I don't expect them to have shaven armpits. I do not care either way. It's a weird thing to notice anyway.
Unless I'm missing a comment from the poster, I don't think there's an argument being made to force this actor to grow body hair just for this role.
Just that it's odd that they'd go through the effort in makeup to make them appear dirty and unkempt, but don't bother to include body hair. It's a common practice in makeup to add beards to men to give them a more unkempt appearance, but not armpit or leg hair on women even though most adult women grow hair in these areas.
This, and I hope that it wasn't a body hair fetish that triggered this post.
God forbid women want to be more accurately represented in media. Noooo, it has to be a fetish.
