The lane departure does not understand situations where you had someone wander into your lane and you may drive onto the shoulder quickly before signalling

This is one of the biggest things I hate about my parents car. You almost have to fight against the lane detection when when changing lanes, being in a merge lane, or more importantly when another car starts drifting into you lane. It's great if you're on a long haul but it's detrimental because it's conditioning you to not have to pay attention as much.
