While that is true this news doesn't actually have anything to do with gaming. This was Nvidia telling other corporations that they're going to price gouge an extra 15% for server GPUs (ironically making cloud gaming potentially that much more expensive).
I think the wider goal is to get everything in "the cloud" so they can charge a monthly subscription service.
Also so they can sell everyone‘s data. Preferably to governments.
Yeah...I've spent the last year de-clouding my life...Got just about everything running on a Dell in my basement...
