4) NSFW is okay, within reason
Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com.
NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.

Please don't delete your post for no apparent reason. If you plan on deleting a question later, say so in the post, or if you feel that you have a good reason to remove it, message a mod beforehand. It's not fair to the ones who took their time to answer, and it's not in the spirit of the community.

The issue we have isn't so much that people haven't thought of it as much as there isn't sufficient userbase to maintain it. Don't shy away from the subs that only get a post once every few months. If you have something to share there, you can respark interest.
This. Could I name a few communities I'd like to exist on Lemmy? Sure - but I could just go out and make them. The issue is more I don't think they'd be sustainable as standalone communities.
This right here. I feel like there's enough communities to really engage in a super wide variety of topics but not enough people on the fediverse yet
Yeah I’m noticing that this morning. I’m used to a billion comments on Reddit but this site feels way more natural and human.
Is there an algo that shows all the small subs? I feel they don't get in my feed automatically.
