itll be like gas. itll never ever come down again.
I remember buying a car in 2005 and considering if I should buy a hybrid or not. I did the calculations on how long it would take to break even upgrading to a hybrid - taking into account the price of gas at the time.
I remember thinking "yeah gas is $2 a gallon now, but there's NO WAY it stays that high over the life of the vehicle."
I don't care about gas tbh it can go higher we need to move away from it.
I dream of a world where electric based public transit is the norm but I live in red state hell that I’m too poor to leave :’)
I’m hoping to at least make my next car a hybrid though

Doesn't change the costs will remain high. Because of unchecked capitalism. That was the point. Never mind whatever "differences" you find from derailing from the point. I'm not here for your convo. I'm here for mine.
