Having recently seen the first trilogy among Nolan's works, I wonder what opinions you hold about the movies in general. Seeing that I'm quite late to the party, I expect some strong and mature takes in the comments, but you are still free to voice any opinion you may have.

Nolan has been a solid director and his batman films are mostly quality filmmaking, but Bale in the titular role ruined them. He was so unenjoyable to watch. I've never rooted against the character before him. Which is weird because the rest of the casting was absolutely superb. Music and cinematography were in the sweet spot for the franchise.

Who watches Batman to see Batman? He is a drearily boring character. The villains are the ones I watch.

Adam West and Michael Keaton are the only good Batmen, and they lean towards a self-aware comedy completely drained out of the Nolan's trilology. I can't really fault Bale.

What did you dislike about Bale's performance in particular? I'm interested to know since I am biased in favour of him as an actor and could've overlooked his flaws in the process.
