A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.
A zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind. Failure to respect this will result in a ban.

3 No capitalist apologia, anti-socialism, anti-communism, or liberalism, liberalism is in direct conflict with the left. Support for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it are not welcome or tolerated.
4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.
5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.
6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

even if you were/are in Tech you'd be lucky to A. still have a job at this point and B. be paid well for it. I've been in the industry for 20+ years now and the wages just totally stagnated. I went from having more money than I knew what to do with in my 20s to having just enough to ALMOST live comfortably on my own. And I'm kicking myself that I didn't settle down in my 20s, buy a house then, marry the girl I was seeing then, starting a family then. Like I said I had more money than I could imagine and figured "it's going to get better from here" and it didn't. I blew it. wasted it all on devices and pcs i don't have anymore, videogames, booze, drugs, clothes, etc. Just totally blew it.
I see fresh grads today who are damn lucky to even get a job in this field but they're being paid peanuts and living in a shoebox apartment or with like 5+ roommates or still living at home with their folks.
