At first I thought the same, but that's nothing more than an excuse. There are numerous videos showing how even Germans themselves find this logic absurd. 'What we did to them was terrible. We'll make up for it by doing the same to others.'

That makes no sense.

People that is misinformed and victim of propaganda is not acting rationally. Politicians are corrupt. It is a fact that the majority of Germans do not support arming Israel despite what the government does.

I agree with you that a lot of politicians are corrupt, and some are even cowards who 'bend over' because of it. And yeah, there really are a lot of Germans who don't support this violence. Which makes me wonder even more how an idiot like Merz managed to get elected as Chancellor! That guy backs it to the absolute max.
