The western world is on a downfall because imperialism is moribund. The democrats cannot save imperialism, and therefore cannot save the west.

The western world is on a downfall because it depends on the United States.

Both of what we said is true. The US is the imperial hegemon, and secondary imperialist powers like European countries depend on the US Empire for the hard power to continue to carry out imperialism.
