The computer that lags like this is an HP Elitebook 645 running Win 11 Enterprise. It has a Ryzen AMD 7 Pro 7730 with 16GB RAM. My drive is a 512GB WD SN740 SSD NVMe. It's not cutting edge, but it's fair to expect the OS to perform pretty seamlessly.
