well that's the thing. It's a catch 22. All the stuff that would make paramount want to drop them? People will get subscriptions to stream it just to see the episodes. So Paramount then wants to keep them from a money standpoint.

Not just subscriptions, Paramount will also get revenue from youtube for clips, and people share south park clips a lot.

I'm just surprised South Park generates that much money to be worth it. It's Microsoft buying Minecraft kinds of money.

Notch wasn't even in the team anymore after he sold out to Microsoft so it wasn't really that much of a big deal
