Oof, approaching in public is stressssful. Interest based clubs/meetups seems like a solid strategy to me.
Absolutely agree! Unfortunately for myself, I live in a medium size city that doesn’t seem to have much of anything going on. About the only interest based activities available that I am not interested in is volunteering at the animal shelter. I don’t think my heart can handle that and I’d end up with 10 more cats lol
Haven't tried it myself yet but maybe someday if someone catches my eye and seems like they might be interested
