do we have a script of binary which generates random wallpapers from a seed? I found robohash but it's only good for profile picture instead of entire wallpaper. https://github.com/e1ven/Robohash https://robohash.org/?set=set5&bgset=bg1

it would be nice to have something which generate seemingly random but aesthetic wallpapers.

Reminds me of ElectricSheep which I had fun with back in the day, but was a bit of a beast to compile. Ended up getting monetized on Android IIRC. Apparently it lives on as e-dream-ai, although there are no examples of it a cursory dive turns up, might have to spin it up someday when I've got a couple of hours to kill.

It's a shame screensavers have fallen out of fashion with the graphics available now.

ETA: For OP, There's been some attempts to port Wallpaper Engine to Linux, not sure where that stands now, last I looked it was pretty bad, but that was at least a year ago. Also there's a daily NASA picture somewhere, not procedural, but cool.
