This is absolutely hilarious, but it looks like this was announced before Ed "Both Sides" Sheeran advocated for Peace In Our Time.

In fairness, the contest launched on August 19th, a good bit before… you know, everything.

I had them calling and checking in and would ask how my last show went. I never felt like they forced it either, genuinely nice people.

Now is the time for GC to double down on this - it's free massive publicity for them and if Ed can't laugh at himself then I guess he's not so neutral after all.
