I bet a lot of white people in the south remember segregation as a good thing. They didn't have to see how "dirty" their communities are.
God, I cringe just typing that, it's disgusting.
"When exactly was America so great that you think we should go back to it?"
They then proceed to tell you about some time when women, minorities, and children were things with no rights and were treated like slaves.
You don't need to look into the past to find that.
