Sideloading Android apps will become such a hassle that the practice will effectively die.

Can it be bypassed by setting the phones date ahead of time? It works on Samsung devices that force you to wait 7 days to unluck the bootloader

no its a timer tied to the setting, its a countdown, it does not look at the date.
