I have accounts on several instances, so I just block all the same things for each.

I did a couple things to make my life comfy here.

I changed my default sort to be "new comments" - this gave me the biggest perspective change on Lemmy, I now see where the active conversations are and it makes the place feel more full of people and less pages and pages of empty threads. I also found a lot less political stuff this way, because it gets posted a lot but people only interact with just a few of the political posts, so only those one end up floating to the top. I am finding myself getting less politics this way on Lemmy than I was on reddit. Also has the added bonus of highlighting where the active communities are.

I blocked Lemmy.ml and hexbear. A lot of the wilder leftist stuff comes from them and once it was blocked I saw the amount of politics in my feed drop right away.

I always opt for something you can eat or drink if they say they don't want gifts. That way it won't clutter anything up and you were still able to give them something. So if not the beer, some candies or maybe a tray of smoked salmon would be a good idea. Or if the place you are visiting has some type of specialty, like a local spice or fruit, maybe that.

Nice, this was really needed and looks great! The only thing it is missing for me from proton pass is a button autofill option from the extension, so I can disable the form pop up autofill.

This 100%. Everything you write on any of these chats, anything you write in email, anything you exchange digitally can be monitored if it is not end to end encrypted. People are way too ignorant about it. Just because you can't search your chat history up on Google doesn't mean you aren't being tracked, recorded and monitored.

So new game in magic world or new game + in normal world?

Do I have to be the chosen one in new game +? I'd do that if I don't have the added responsibility of saving the world.

I want to get back in to Palworld, the update looks so good. But, they will probably be on update 2.0 before I get to the 1.0 release.

what UI do you use as a that lets you add pixelfed and mastdon to your feed? I am on Voyager but it doesn't fully support piefed and I don't see anyway of adding non lemmy fediverse places to it.

I am one of the converts from this year, still on Windows for work, but my personal set up is all Linux now. I went with Linux Mint and the transition has been seamless.

My grandfather bought a plot with 5 spaces next to each other in a graveyard you can no longer get plots for, thinking him his wife and his 3 boys would be buried there. His did this when the boys were under 10 years old. The ones for him and my grandma are used now, but the three boys are grown, moved away from that small town and with grandkids of their own now and they will not be using the plot.

Let him do what he wants with his money, but he is delusional if he thinks his children will be buried there too.
