Here's Lemmy Explorer, with communities sorted by number of subscribers.
You can check if communities similar to what you liked on Reddit have any subscribers, which many will not.

Another tip is to add a zero to the end of the score to make it correlate to a similar Reddit score. So, fifty upvotes on Lemmy is about the same as 500 upvotes on Reddit.
