I need some context - or perhaps I don't?

A Hyrox athlete (this incident making rounds on the internet is how I first heard of the sport) shat herself during a competition but kept going and won, using shared equipment with feces streaming down her legs. She proclaimed “a win is a win” and only apologized after backlash online and losing her sponsorship from Puma.

Thanks.

What a niche drama.

I thought this was about Trump, somehow. Wouldn't that be nice.

They put only the best diapers on him. Very beautiful diapers. That's why it doesn't run down his legs and get all over the oval office.

[–] couldhavebeenyou@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 month ago

Not sure about that last part

[–] AviAdi@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Puma are such morons for this. A win is a win, you want her to stop? This is a fucking winner. Puma is diarrhea of shoes anyway 😂😂

[–] very_well_lost@lemmy.world 18 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Nike should sign her instead.

"Just doodoo it."

Puma were right: that Poopy Patty actively and consciously made it harder for other athletes to compete.

Not really. This is literal whataboutism.

We're talking about the impact of sponsoring an athlete on a brand, and the podcast is about how Puma literally created athlete sponsoring.

The fact that they were Nazis is somewhat irrelevant.

[–] prettybunnys@piefed.social 12 points 1 month ago

Wait did she really have a Puma sponsorship, they really coulda taken a W here with their PumaPants line

A Hyrox athlete

A hyro-rah-what now?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyrox

Hyrox (stylized as HYROX) is an indoor fitness competition that combines 8 km of running and 8 functional workout stations. Contestants alternate between running and functional exercises.

Oooh.

This is my first time hearing of this. Part of me wants to see pictures and videos. Part of me doesn't. The latter part is happy that I suck at searching stuff like this online.

All I'm saying is, if someone were to drop a link to some uncensored evidence, there's a good chance I'll click it...

[–] SpikedIguana@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You just search 2 girls 1 cup, it's a foreign video so that's why it has a funny name.

[–] NeatNit@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 month ago

I wasn't born yesterday, you know

[–] renrenPDX@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

This was all indoors too, btw.

Same. Now I just know it as poop sport.

So Americans censor shit now? Something literally everyone has seen since they were born?

[–] Proprietary_Blend@lemmy.world -3 points 1 month ago

I'm sure you can find the uncensored versions on Australian public television. Go beat your meat to that.
